The RoleReporting to the Central Treasurer, you will be responsible for delivering accurate, timely financial reporting while ensuring strong financial controls and compliance.
Key responsibilities include:
*Leading month-end and year-end close processes
*Producing financial reports in line with UK GAAP / FRS 102
*Managing balance sheet integrity and strengthening internal controls
*Overseeing AP, AR, payroll, and tax compliance
*Acting as the key contact for external auditors
*Leading budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
*Driving continuous improvement across finance processes
*Managing, mentoring, and developing the Accounts team
About You*AAT qualified or above (or equivalent experience)
*Strong technical knowledge of UK accounting standards
*Proven experience in financial reporting and audit
*Experience managing month-end and year-end processes
*Solid understanding of AP/AR and payroll
*Advanced Excel and financial systems skills
*Strong leadership and stakeholder management ability
*Proactive, organised, and solutions-focused mindset
