Job Description:
Shipping & Operations Coordinator (Part-Time)
Office-Based | Sheffield | Monday–Friday (9:30am–2:30pm)
Are you an organised, proactive coordinator who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Elevation Recruitment are exclusively supporting a well-established, highly specialised manufacturing business as they recruit a Shipping & Operations Coordinator into this newly created role.
The Benefits:
*£18.5k - £19.5k salary for 27.5 hours per week
*Monday to Friday, part-time hours 9:30am – 2:30pm

Working as part of a busy Operations Planning team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately, efficiently, and on time. This is a hands-on, detail-driven role where no two days look the same - ideal for someone who enjoys balancing coordination, communication, and problem-solving.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for supporting the smooth dispatch of goods, ensuring everything is packed, documented, and shipped in line with customer requirements and internal processes.
*Coordinating deliveries to meet customer timelines
*Booking collections with couriers and transport providers
*Communicating with customers regarding order readiness and collections
*Monitoring shipments and liaising with freight forwarders and carriers
*Handling and resolving any shipping issues or delays
*Supporting export processes where required
*Reconciling supplier invoices and maintaining accurate records
What We’re Looking For
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Confident working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
*Proactive and responsive approach to workload
*Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
*Comfortable using Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
*Experience within manufacturing, logistics, or shipping environments
*Knowledge of incoterms, export processes, or tariff codes
