Job Description:
I am currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established business within the manufacturing sector, seeking a confident and well-rounded Accounts Assistant to join their friendly finance team in Rotherham.
This is a temporary opportunity for a minimum of 3 months, created to support the team during a period of transition and increased workload. For the right candidate, there is strong potential for the role to become permanent.
You’ll be joining a close-knit finance team of five, where collaboration is key and everyone supports each other across all areas. The team prides itself on being exceptionally friendly and welcoming, offering a positive and supportive working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Assisting with purchase ledger duties, including processing invoices and reconciling supplier statements.
*Supporting sales ledger activities such as invoicing and cash allocation.
*Managing elements of credit control, including chasing outstanding payments.
*Providing general support across the finance function as required.
About You:
*Previous experience in a similar all-round Accounts Assistant role.
*Confident working across purchase ledger, sales ledger, and credit control.
*A proactive, flexible approach with a willingness to support the wider team.
*Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
