The role*Full responsibility for a Year 1 class, including planning, teaching, and assessment
*Deliver engaging lessons that support the EYFS to KS1 transition
*Create a nurturing, structured classroom environment
*Work closely with support staff to meet the needs of all learners, including SEN
*Build strong relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues
The ideal candidate*Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Has proven experience teaching in KS1 (Year 1 preferred)
*Confident in managing the transition from EYFS into more structured learning
*Strong understanding of phonics, early literacy and numeracy
*Committed to creating an inclusive and engaging classroom environment
*Passionate about contributing to a faith-based school ethos
