We are working with a well-established global B2B organisation to recruit a Marketing and Social Media Assistant to join their growing team based just outside Burton-on-Trent.
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior marketer to gain broad, hands-on experience across digital and offline marketing within a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities*Support the Marketing Manager in delivering the annual marketing plan
*Create and manage content across LinkedIn, Instagram and TikTok
*Produce high-quality, original copywriting for social media and marketing campaigns
*Assist in the development of B2B and consumer-focused marketing campaigns
*Brief designers on marketing materials including brochures, packaging, leaflets and flyers
*Work closely with the sales team to provide marketing support and materials
*Assist with event planning and trade day coordination
*Manage merchandise stock and support general marketing administration
Skills and Experience Required*Previous experience in a marketing role (placement, internship or apprenticeship considered)
*Experience managing or contributing to social media platforms (B2B and/or B2C)
*Strong copywriting and content creation skills
*Understanding of digital marketing and social media trends
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Proactive, organised and willing to learn
Education:
*Degree in Marketing or related field, or a relevant apprenticeship
Additional Requirements:
*Must be able to commute to Burton-on-Trent (limited public transport access)
*Driving licence desirable
