The Role
You will take ownership of business operations with responsibility spanning operational coordination, financial oversight, and commercial reporting. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will ensure the organisation runs efficiently, compliantly, and with clear visibility over performance.
Key areas include:
*Ownership of financial accuracy, cashflow visibility, and profitability reporting
*Ensuring statutory, payroll, and compliance obligations are met
*Oversight of core business operations and office management
*Producing and maintaining management information and dashboards
*Supporting leadership with insight, control, and process improvement
*Coordinating suppliers, systems, and internal support activities
What We’re Looking For
*Experience in an Operations, Finance & Operations, or Business Manager role within an SME
*Strong hands-on understanding of financial processes (e.g. invoicing, cashflow, payroll, VAT, month-end)
*Comfortable managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision
*Highly organised, commercially minded, and detail oriented
*Confident communicator with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
Part-qualified or qualified finance professionals (AAT / ACCA / ACA) are welcome, though practical experience is just as valued.
