So, what’s the job?
As a Senior Talent Scout, your focus is building and owning a high-quality candidate network within your vertical.
Yes, this is a recruitment role, but the emphasis is on candidate relationships first. You’ll become a trusted contact in your market, working closely with professionals over time and placing them into the right opportunities when it matters.
You’re not just reacting to jobs, you’re building a talent pool that clients want access to.

Day to day, you’ll be:
*Headhunting passive candidates and building a "hot list" of 20+ in-demand professionals
*Managing the full candidate journey, from first conversation through to placement and aftercare
*Building long-term relationships and staying close to your network over time
*Understanding candidate motivations, career goals and market movement
*Working with clients to match the right people to the right opportunities
*Contributing to role briefings and ensuring candidate-market insight shapes delivery
*Developing deep market knowledge (salaries, trends, competitor activity)
*Acting as a genuine advocate for candidates, not just sending CV’s

You don’t need experience in fire and security, we’ll teach you the market. But you do need:
*Recruitment experience (you understand the fundamentals)
*A relationship-led mindset, you value long-term networks over quick wins
*Strong communication skills across phone, LinkedIn and face-to-face
*Curiosity about people, careers and what drives decision-making
*Resilience and consistency when things don’t land first time
*The motivation to take ownership of your niche and build something within it
