Registered Manager – Children’s EBD Residential Home (Birmingham)
Salary: £60,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, permanent
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Manager to lead our 3-bed Children’s Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) home in Birmingham. This is a key leadership role within our organisation, responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care, safeguarding, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead the day-to-day management of the home in line with Ofsted requirements.
*Ensure a safe, nurturing, and structured environment for children with EBD needs.
*Manage, mentor, and develop a skilled staff team.
*Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and behaviour support strategies.
*Build strong relationships with local authorities, families, and external partners.
*Drive continuous improvement and maintain a culture of excellence.
Requirements
*Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting.
*Strong understanding of EBD, trauma-informed practice, and safeguarding.
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (or working towards).
*Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
*A commitment to achieving positive outcomes for young people.
