Overview
A fast-growing company in the heart of Tunbridge Wells is on the lookout for a friendly Finance Officer to cover maternity leave for 9-12 months.
Working closely with the Management Accountant and Finance Director, playing an integral part in the day-to-day finance function, covering a broad range of transactional and administrative responsibilities.
This role is full time with hybrid working available, and some flexibility around hours.
Salary is dependent on experience/qualifications. Higher salaries can be discussed.
Duties
*Posting purchase invoices and processing payments
*Preparing payment runs for approval and processing
*Completing regular bank reconciliations
*Handling CIS deductions and submissions
*Posting intercompany transactions and journals
*Processing monthly rent charges and receipts
*Maintaining rent arrears schedules and issuing late payment notices
*Raising ad-hoc recharges to residents as required
*Ensuring utility charges are accurate for vacant units
*Processing staff expense claims
*Updating schedules, trackers, and supporting finance documentation
*Ordering stationery and supporting general office administration
*Supporting the finance team with other ad-hoc duties as required
What we’re looking for
A successful candidate will have at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role. Exposure to CIS and intercompany accounting would be beneficial but not essential. You must live within a 45 min radius of Tunbridge Wells.
