Our client, an established, family-owned company with the reputation for being one of the UK’s leading motor groups representing world renown manufactures have the requirement for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy franchised dealership in Southampton.

Basic salary of up to £37,000

As a Diagnostic Technician, your responsibilities will include:

Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical faults using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
Perform advanced repairs and maintenance on vehicles/equipment to manufacturer and safety standards
Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service bulletins to resolve issues accurately
Ensure all work is completed efficiently, meeting productivity and turnaround targets
Carry out Servicing & Repairs to Manufacturer Standards
Cambelt, Clutch, Gearbox & Engine Repairs/Replacements
Electrical & Mechanical Diagnostics
Warranty Repairs
News Car PDI’s and Used Car Multi Point Checks
Carry out MOT Tests to DVSA standards (if qualified)

Experience, Skills & Qualifications:

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
Manufacturer Accredited Diagnostic Technician qualification
2 years Diagnostic Technician Experience
Full and Clean UK Driving Licence
Own Tools

Desirable Requirements:

EV/Hybrid Accreditation
MOT Licence (Class 4 & 7)

Salary, OTE & Working Hours:

Basic salary of up to £37,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Uncapped OTE of £52,000
Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
