Job Title – QA Technician
Location – Erith, Kent
Salary – £27,000 per annum (£12.50 per hour)
Shift – Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (40 hours per week)

You will be responsible for maintaining quality systems, supporting audits, and ensuring all products meet strict safety and compliance standards across the site.
Sector – Food Manufacturing / Quality AssuranceNon-Negotiable Requirements of the QA Technician*Previous QA experience within a food manufacturing environment
*Strong understanding of HACCP and food safety standards
Requirements for the QA Technician*Experience managing and maintaining HACCP systems
*Knowledge of food safety and quality systems
*Experience with internal audits (hygiene, glass, GMP)
*Ability to handle quality control of raw materials and finished products
*Experience investigating customer complaints and conducting root cause analysis
*Strong communication skills when dealing with customers and suppliers
Desirable Requirements for the QA Technician*Understanding of BRC Global Standards
*Experience supporting New Product Development (NPD)
*Knowledge of SALSA standards
*Experience with lab testing (microbiological, chemical, allergen)
