Our client, a well-established organisation operating within a complex, multi-entity environment, is looking to appoint a Financial Analyst to join their finance team. This role offers exposure to senior stakeholders and the opportunity to work across forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis in a fast-paced and collaborative setting.
Location: Birmingham (Hybrid working)
Position: Financial Analyst
Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum + benefits
Key responsibilities of the Financial Analyst:
*Build, update and maintain multiple operational and financial models to support planning and decision-making.
*Review model outputs and perform variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and clarity of financial information.
*Support budgeting, forecasting and business planning cycles across the wider organisation.
*Prepare structured reporting and meaningful commentary for senior stakeholders.
*Contribute to longer-term cashflow analysis, scenario modelling and strategic reviews.
*Respond to complex financial queries, identifying risks, opportunities and anomalies within data sets.
*Support continuous improvement of financial tools, templates and processes.
Key essentials of the Financial Analyst:
*Strong financial modelling experience.
*Advanced Excel skills.
*Professional qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) is desirable but not essential.
