Special Needs Teaching Assistant - Part-Time (4 Days) - Lambeth Primary School - Near Tulse Hill StationLocation: Lambeth - 5 mins from Tulse Hill Station
Start Date: May 2026
Schedule: Part-time - 4 days per week (Mon-Thurs or Tues-Fri)
Contract: Term-Time Only
Pay: £85-£110 per day (depending on experience)

Key Responsibilities - Special Needs Teaching Assistant:*Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
*Collaborate with class teachers to tailor lesson plans and resources to individual learning profiles
*Foster a positive, inclusive, and encouraging environment that supports the emotional and academic growth of every child
*Track and record student progress, sharing updates with the class teacher, SENCo, and parents when appropriate
*Help implement and follow Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and SEN strategies in line with school policies
*Offer support in managing behaviour, transitions, and learning activities throughout the school day
What We’re Looking For:*Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or care setting
*A calm, empathetic, and proactive approach to behaviour and communication
*Strong teamwork and communication skills
*A genuine interest in inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
*SEN-related training or qualifications (desirable, but not essential)
