Head of Sales
Location: Manchester City Centre (Office-Based)
Salary: £50,000 per annum + OTE £80,000 (Uncapped)
Working Hours: Monday - Friday

They pride themselves on delivering exceptional client outcomes, maintaining a 98% client retention rate, and providing clear, high-quality advice across pensions, investments, and holistic financial planning.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and driven Head of Sales to lead, develop, and inspire a growing team of financial advisors. This is a key leadership role suited to a high-performing sales professional with a background in professional services and a passion for coaching and team development.
You will play a critical role in shaping the sales strategy, managing a multi-stage customer journey, and ensuring consistent delivery of exceptional client outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead, manage, and motivate a team of junior and senior financial advisors
*Drive sales performance and ensure team targets and KPIs are consistently achieved
*Coach and develop team members through structured training, mentoring, and performance management
*Oversee and optimise the multi-stage customer journey to maximise conversion and client satisfaction
*Implement and refine sales strategies aligned with business growth objectives
*Monitor pipeline activity, forecasting, and reporting on sales performance
*Maintain high standards of compliance in line with financial services regulations
*Collaborate with senior leadership to support business expansion and operational improvements
*Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, continuous improvement, and client-centricity
Requirements
*Proven experience as a Head of Sales or senior sales leader
*Strong background within a professional services environment (financial services, insurance etc)
*Demonstrable experience managing a multi-stage sales/customer journey
*Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills
*Track record of delivering and exceeding sales targets
*Strong communication, organisational, and strategic thinking abilities
