Insurance Technician (Underwriting Support)
Birmingham (Hybrid) | Full-time
Looking to kick-start your career in insurance?
We’re looking for a detail-driven Insurance Technician to support a fast-paced underwriting team. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or someone with up to 2 years’ experience to build hands-on experience across policy administration, data processing, and underwriting support.
What you’ll be doing:
*Supporting policy documentation, renewals & endorsements
*Managing data, premiums, and billing processes
*Assisting underwriters with quotes and day-to-day tasks
*Ensuring accuracy and compliance across all records
What we’re looking for:
*Graduate or up to 2 years’ experience (insurance, data analytics or admin)
*Strong attention to detail and numerical skills
*Confident using Excel and handling data
*Organised, proactive, and eager to learn
Clear progression into underwriting or senior operations roles
