Graduate Teaching Assistant - Aspiring Teachers - Hounslow
Start Date: September
Contract: Full-time, Term-time only
Pay: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)
A diverse and inclusive secondary school in Hounslow is looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students with SEN across Key Stages 3 and 4. This full-time role is perfect for graduates aiming to build experience before moving into teaching.
The school has a strong SEN provision and a supportive leadership team. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will support students in accessing the curriculum and developing confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support SEN students during lessons
* Deliver small group and 1:1 interventions
* Assist with classroom preparation and behaviour support
* Encourage participation and academic progress
* Work closely with teachers and SEN staff
The Ideal Candidate:
* A graduate with an interest in education
* Considering a career in teaching or SEN
* Patient, proactive and committed
* Experience with young people is beneficial
