Early Years Practitioner - Primary School - IslingtonLocation: Islington, North London

The Role*Position: Early Years Practitioner
*Start Date: ASAP
*Location: Islington, North London
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am - 4:00pm
*Pay: £16.42 - £17.05 per hour (PAYE)
*Contract: Full-time (5 days per week)
*Setting: Early Years provision within a primary school
About the SchoolWe are working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive Children’s Centre based within a primary school in Islington. The setting is known for its supportive team, welcoming atmosphere, and strong focus on child-centred learning.
Staff are encouraged to bring creativity, energy and care into their practice, ensuring every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn.
Key Responsibilities*Deliver engaging, play-based learning activities in line with the EYFS framework
*Support children’s social, emotional and developmental progress
*Create a stimulating and safe learning environment
*Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of practice
*Observe, assess and record children’s development
*Encourage positive behaviour and independence
*Build strong relationships with parents, carers and staff
The Ideal Candidate*CACHE Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Early Years
*Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
*Experience in a nursery, children’s centre or school setting
*A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
*Ability to work effectively as part of a team
