SEN Teaching Assistant – Nurture Provision
Sittingbourne
Start: June 2026 | Until Easter 2027
Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm
Full-time | Term Time Only
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a primary school in Sittingbourne, supporting a small group of children within a specialist nurture provision.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about helping children with additional needs thrive in a structured, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
*Support a small group of pupils with special educational needs (SEN)
*Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team
*Deliver activities using pre-prepared planning
*Help create a calm, consistent, and nurturing learning environment
*Support pupils’ emotional, social, and academic development
Requirements:
*Proven experience working with children with SEN
*Strong behaviour management and communication skills
*Reliable and able to commit to the full duration of the role
*Must work term time only (no holidays during term time)
*Minimal pre-booked appointments to ensure consistency for pupils
