Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join their busy accounts team. This financial services company is looking for someone with solid accountancy experience who loves a challenge, enjoys implementing change and thrives on being busy.
Duties include:
*Sole responsibility and main point of contact for the purchase ledger
*Gaining the correct authorisation for invoices to ensure agreed payment terms are adhered to
*Prepare and process payment terms
*Reconciliation of supplier statements and resolve any invoice or payment queries
*Review and process employee and directors’ expenses
*Process and reconcile company credit card transactions
*Create and post sales invoices for internal and external business services
*Provide support at month end to the wider finance team
To be considered for this role, you need to have previous accounting experience ideally from within a varied role with a strong purchase ledger bias. You must have strong attention to detail and have a high level of accuracy. Someone who is IT savvy and is a strong Excel user would also suit.
