Job Description:
Futures are looking to recruit a skilled Electrical Technician with strong experience in control panel wiring and the ability to accurately read and interpret electrical schematic drawings. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team to build, install, and maintain electrical systems.
Roles & Responsibilities
*Assemble, wire, and test electrical control panels according to engineering drawings and specifications
*Read, interpret, and troubleshoot using electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
*Install electrical components such as relays, circuit breakers, PLCs, terminal blocks, and sensors
*Perform point-to-point wiring and ensure proper cable management within panels
*Conduct inspections and functional testing of completed panels and systems
*Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems and control panels
*Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations
*Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to resolve design or build issues
*Maintain accurate documentation of work completed, changes made, and test results
Required Skills & Qualifications
*Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, panel wirer or similar role
*Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
*Hands-on experience with panel wiring and control system assembly
*Familiarity with electrical components and industrial control systems
*Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
*Understanding of industrial automation systems
*Experience working in manufacturing, automation, or industrial environments
