Job Description:
A well-established insurance team is seeking a Senior Account Handler to take ownership of more complex corporate risks and support continued growth within the business.
The role will focus on delivering high-quality service across a portfolio of mid market clients, working closely with Account Executives in a collaborative environment.
The Role
*Manage a portfolio of complex mid market insurance clients
*Handle cases with average premiums around £50,000, and up to £350,000
*Maintain your own allocated book while also supporting shared client accounts
*Work closely with Account Executives to deliver seamless client service
*Provide technical input and support on more complex risks
*Ensure accuracy, compliance, and strong communication across all client interactions
Key Requirements
*Strong background in commercial insurance
*Proven experience handling complex risks and mid-to-large premium cases
*Around 5+ years’ experience in a similar Account Handler or Broking role
*Strong client relationship management and communication skills
*Ability to manage workload independently while contributing to team success

*Strong emphasis on professionalism, client service, and technical capability
