About the RoleVeritas Education are recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in Garstang for a Teaching Assistant to join their team. This role is ideal for a caring and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development within a primary school setting.
You will work closely with class teachers to support pupils across the primary age range, helping to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities*Support pupils in the classroom across the primary curriculum
*Work with individuals or small groups to reinforce learning
*Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom organisation
*Support pupils’ social, emotional, and behavioural development
*Help prepare learning resources and classroom displays
*Supervise pupils during activities and break times when required
Requirements*Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
*A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
*A genuine interest in education and supporting young learners
*Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
