We are seeking a motivated and detail-driven Practice Accountant to join a well-established and growing accountancy practice in the North West. Practice Accountant – The Job:
*Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships
*Preparation and submission of corporation tax, personal tax, and VAT returns
*Management accounts preparation and analysis
*Liaising directly with clients to provide proactive advice and support
*Assisting with audits where required
*Supporting junior staff and reviewing work when appropriate
*Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax legislation
Practice Accountant – Ideal Candidate:
*AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent experience in practice)
*Experienced in a UK accountancy practice environment
*Confident managing a client portfolio with minimal supervision
*Strong in technical accounting and tax compliance
*Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*A strong communicator who can build trusted client relationship
