Job Description:
Legal Administrator
Purpose of the position:
The role of a Legal Administrator at Redwood Collections Ltd is to support the management of a diary of legal cases. Our legal cases are outstanding debts referred to the company for collection by our clients, which have failed to repay as requested and where legal action such as county court or insolvency proceedings may be required.
Responsibilities & duties:
*Case support – Helping manage cases and meet deadlines
*Inbox management – Keeping emails organised and up to date
*Working with solicitors – Communicating to keep cases moving
*Client updates – Keeping clients informed throughout
*Issuing actions – Instructing solicitors when needed
*Documents & checks – Preparing and reviewing case documents
*Fee charging – Applying and explaining fees correctly
*Compliance – Handling data safely and following GDPR
Training Programme:
*Regular training sessions to help support and build confidence
*Listening and learning from managers
*Training manuals provided
As part of our ongoing commitment to nurturing and developing talented individuals, Redwood Collections Ltd have a structured training programme, ensuring all employees are provided with the knowledge and understanding to excel within their role.
You will be enrolled onto a structured training programme, including formal training sessions and ad-hoc ’shadowing’ to support your development.
The training is carried out with various members of the department and Senior Management team, allowing successful candidates the best possible opportunity to succeed and build a lasting career with Redwood Collections Ltd.
This position is conditional, subject to a probationary period, where training will be provided throughout and progress meetings will support your development within the role.
The natural progression of this role may lead to opportunities to work closely with Account Managers, developing client relationships and taking on greater responsibility in managing legal cases and client portfolios.
Additional information
Salary: £21,200 – £28,000 (depending on experience) + bonus
