The Job You’ll Do;
*Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for projects, including materials, labour, and other associated costs.
*Review project specifications and drawings to provide accurate and competitive bids.
*Work closely with sales and engineering, ensuring the smooth handover of won projects.
*Evaluate project requirements, scope of work, and technical details to ensure that all estimates are comprehensive and aligned with customer expectations.
*Monitor project budgets during the tender phase and ensure that all estimates are kept within defined limits.
*Maintain accurate records of all estimates, tenders, and communications.
*Provide detailed reports to senior management and stakeholders on project performance and costing accuracy.
*Keep up to date with market trends, competitor pricing, and new technologies to ensure estimates remain competitive and current.
*Identify and evaluate risks associated with pricing and project delivery, proposing solutions to mitigate these risks.
About You;
*NVQ Level 3 or above in an electrical discipline (desirable) or equivalent industry experience
*Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce accurate estimates.
*Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
*Strong negotiation and communication skills.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
