Experienced Vehicle Technician
Upto £45k
Blackburn , Monday to Friday (NO Weekends)
We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the motor industry while working as part of a supportive and skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
*Work closely with the Workshop Manager to complete allocated jobs efficiently
*Liaise with the Service Advisor team regarding additional work or customer updates
*Attend training sessions (both on-site and off-site)
*Provide detailed updates on work progress
*Carry out vehicle health checks
*Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
*Use diagnostic equipment to assess and verify repairs
*Road test vehicles where required after work is completed
*Complete all relevant service documentation accurately (job cards, reports, worksheets)
*Record clear descriptions of faults identified and repairs carried out
Requirements
*Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Service and Repair (minimum)
*At least 3 years’ experience as a Vehicle Technician
*Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
*Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
*Full UK driving licence
*Professional, reliable, and presentable
*Proactive ’can-do’ attitude
*Good time management and ability to meet deadlines
