Job Description:
Do you enjoy supporting academic programmes and building strong relationships with international partners? Are you confident managing admissions processes while ensuring a high-quality student experience? Signature Recruitment are pleased to be supporting a London-based higher education institution to recruit a Programme Officer on a temporary basis.
This role is based in London, working 35 hours per week, with a hybrid pattern of two days onsite and three working from home. Offering £19.02 per hour plus holiday pay, this temporary role will run from for 3 months and as you will support the delivery of a Summer School, you will be required to work a Saturday shift in July.
You will be joining a collaborative and supportive environment where attention to detail and clear communication are highly valued. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with academic staff, partner institutions, and students, contributing to a smooth and effective programme experience. You will gain exposure to a wide range of processes within higher education, with opportunities to develop your skills in systems, coordination, and stakeholder engagement.
Programme Officer - Key Responsibilities:*Support the coordination of international partnerships and academic programmes
*Manage and oversee admissions processes and related enquiries
*Maintain accurate student and programme records using systems such as SITS
*Assist with planning and delivery of academic programmes, including Summer School
*Provide on-site operational support during key programme activities
*Support administrative processes including marksheet checks and system updates
Programme Officer - Key Skills:*Experience working within higher education administration
*Strong written and interpersonal communication skills
*High level of attention to detail and organisational ability
*Experience using systems such as SITS, virtual learning environments and Microsoft Office
This role would suit someone who is highly organised, detail-focused, and confident managing multiple priorities. You will be proactive, adaptable, and able to work collaboratively to support both students and colleagues in a fast-paced academic environment.
