Job Description:
Are you an experienced insurance finance professional with strong Acturis knowledge and hands-on IBA experience?
Insure Recruitment is working with a well-established and growing insurance business, part of a wider group, who are looking to appoint an Insurance Accounts Technician (IBA) to support their finance function.
This opportunity has arisen due to a long-standing team member retiring in July, offering a fantastic chance to step into a well-established role with strong processes and a thorough handover.
This is a highly flexible opportunity, offering full-time or part-time hours, along with remote working, requiring just one day per month in the London office.
The Role
This is a hands-on Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA) position, with a strong focus on Acturis and client money:
*Posting and managing client money transactions via Acturis
*Performing monthly insurer reconciliations and arranging settlements
*Weekly and monthly bank reconciliations (client and office accounts)
*Managing insurer and client account queries
*Supporting intercompany reconciliations
*Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
*Supporting audit preparation and year-end activities
*Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
*Ensuring compliance with Financial Conduct Authority client money (CASS) regulations
*Liaising with insurers, account handlers, and internal teams

*Experience in an IBA / insurance accounts role

*Strong communication skills and team collaboration
