Electronics Engineer – Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Electronics Engineer to join a dynamic manufacturing engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with both hands-on and theoretical expertise in electronic systems, who thrives on designing and developing innovative solutions. You will play a key role in creating, testing and improving electronic products, contributing to cutting-edge developments and supporting customer-specific requirements. Duties & Responsibilities*Design and develop innovative electronic circuits and systems to enhance existing products or solve customer challenges
*Create detailed and accurate circuit board layouts using industry-standard design software
*Conduct testing and diagnostics using test rigs and electronic equipment
*Interpret and communicate complex technical designs in a clear and accessible manner
*Collaborate with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors
*Support software development and implement modifications based on client requirements
*Work with electronic components including resistors, capacitors, transistors, and integrated circuits
*Ensure compatibility across hardware and software platforms, including mobile and laptop systems
Education & Skills Required*Degree in electronics, computer engineering, physics, mechanical engineering, or a related field
*Strong foundational knowledge of electronics engineering principles and electrical interfaces (e.g. CANopen, Ethernet, Modbus)
*Previous experience in an engineering or technician-level role
*Proficiency with circuit design tools such as Eagle or Atmel Studio
*Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills
*Knowledge of subsea operations and control systems (advantageous)
