Job Title: ESG Analyst
Location: Rotherham (fully site based)
Salary: £30,000 - £33,000
Elevation Tech & Transformation are looking for a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join one of our key clients in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in sustainability, data analysis and reporting. You’ll play a key role in collecting, validating and analysing ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) data, supporting the organisation’s sustainability initiatives and regulatory reporting.
Key Responsibilities
*Collect, validate, and analyse ESG data across the organisation, including carbon emissions, energy usage, and workforce metrics
*Support environmental and sustainability reporting processes
*Maintain trackers and dashboards to monitor KPIs and ESG-related risks
*Gather and organise ESG data and supporting documentation for internal reporting, external stakeholders, and regulatory requirements (e.g. SECR)
*Assist in preparing emissions data for CBAM reporting, including coordinating data collection from production teams and suppliers
*Contribute to ESOS reporting activities
*Support the calculation of projected emissions for capital expenditure projects
*Develop and maintain documentation for data collection processes, identifying opportunities for improvement
Skills & Experience
*Degree in sustainability, environmental science, finance, data analytics, or a related field
*Experience in data analysis, ESG, or a similar related role
*Exposure to a manufacturing environment
*Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail
*Advanced Excel skills or the ability to quickly develop strong IT proficiency
*Understanding of spreadsheet development, including documentation and error-checking practices
*Ability to manage and interpret data accurately
