The role

*Managing a caseload of EL/PL claims from instruction through to settlement, including both Portal and non-Portal matters
*Handling predominantly fast-track litigated cases, with exposure to multi-track work
*Running files with a good level of autonomy while having support available when needed
*Drafting your own correspondence and legal documents
*Providing clear, practical advice to clients and delivering solutions-focused outcomes
*Working to fee earning and time recording targets in a structured environment
*Using a case management system to progress matters efficiently
*Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, referrers and colleagues across the firm
*Supporting business development activity and identifying opportunities to bring in new work

You

*Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with litigation rights and 3+ years PQE
*Strong experience handling EL/PL claims from start to finish, including litigated matters
*Solid understanding of the relevant Pre-Action Protocols, Civil Procedure Rules and the Damages Claims Portal
*Commercially aware, with the ability to meet financial and performance targets
*Excellent communicator with strong client care skills
*Proactive, organised and confident managing multiple priorities
*A team player with a positive and enthusiastic approach
*Ambitious and motivated to progress your career
