Business Support Lead
*Job Type: Temporary, Full-time, Office-based (3-4 days per week)
*Location: Albert Square, Manchester, Lancashire, M60 2LA
*Duration: 3-4 months
*Pay: £18.16 per hour
*Working Hours: 8am till 4:30pm
Manchester City Council are seeking a Business Support Lead who will provide high-quality, customer-focused, and flexible business support, directly contributing to the achievement of their objectives. This role is crucial in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services through effective business support initiatives and performance management.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Manage and organise the Director’s diary, ensuring efficient scheduling and rescheduling of appointments as required.
*Handle email management and triage, ensuring important communications are addressed appropriately.
*Minute-taking in meetings with large organisations, ensuring all details are accurately recorded.
*Prepare and send out meeting agendas.
*Act as the main point of contact for the Director’s communications during their leave from May to August.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in minuting meetings and diary management at a senior level.
*Strong ability to manage email correspondence independently.
*Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting confidently with high-level internal stakeholders.
*Ability to work autonomously and make informed decisions without constant supervision.
*Experience within a similar role or environment would be highly advantageous.
