CNC OperatorLocation: Birmingham
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm
Contract: Temp to Perm
The RoleWe are currently recruiting for a CNC Operator to join a well-established manufacturing company. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with experience operating CNC machinery in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities*Operating CNC machines in line with production requirements
*Loading and unloading materials and components
*Monitoring machine operations and making basic offsets/adjustments
*Carrying out quality checks using measuring equipment (verniers, callipers, micrometers)
*Reading and working from engineering drawings
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
*Reporting faults or issues to supervisors
Requirements*Previous experience as a CNC Operator (lathe or mill)
*Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
*Basic understanding of CNC controls (Fanuc / Heidenhain - beneficial)
*Good attention to detail and quality standards
*Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
