Legal Secretary (IP)
12-month Fixed-Term Contract
Location: London
Working pattern: Hybrid


We are seeking a Legal Secretary to join our law firm client within their Intellectual Property team provide high-level administrative and work management support to fee earners within.


This role supports a range of practice areas, including patents and trademarks, and requires excellent organisation, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.


Key Responsibilities:
*Managing incoming and outgoing correspondence and maintaining electronic files
*Monitoring deadlines and prompt lists, reminding fee earners of key dates
*Preparing and proofreading legal documentation and correspondence
*Supporting billing processes, including invoicing and e-billing platforms
*Liaising with fee earners, clients and internal teams
*Providing cover and additional support to colleagues as required
Skills & Experience:
*Experience in professional services, ideally within intellectual property or patents
*Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
*Confident communicator with a positive, team-focused approach
