The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for leading category strategies and delivering insights to drive business growth. This role requires expertise in category management from and FMCG background and a strategic approach to customer and market needs.

*Develop and implement category management strategies to drive brand performance and growth.
*Directly manage a Category Manager.
*Analyse market trends, shopper behaviours, and competitor activities to identify opportunities.
*Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align category plans with overall business objectives.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners.
*Manage category reviews and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
*Monitor category performance and recommend adjustments to strategy as needed.
*Support the development of promotional activities to maximise category sales.
*Ensure effective use of data and analytics to inform decision-making processes.
Profile
A successful Senior Category Manager should have:
*Proven expertise in category management within the FMCG industry.
*Open to buyers, however candidates must have some experience of working for a manufactuer.
*Management experience a bonus but not essential.
*Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
*Experience in managing relationships with key stakeholders and retail partners.
*Ability to develop and execute strategic plans effectively.
*Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £56,000 to £66,000 per annum.
*This role is 5 days a week in London.
