As the Transport Manager you will,


*Manage daily transport operations based in West Yorkshire, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods.
*Oversee fleet management, including vehicle maintenance and compliance with regulations.
*Develop and implement strategies to optimise logistics processes and reduce costs.
*Monitor driver performance and ensure adherence to safety standards and company policies.
*Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
*Analyse transport data and prepare detailed reports for senior management.
*Resolve transport-related issues promptly to maintain customer satisfaction.
Profile
The successful Transport Manager candidate should have:


*Proven experience in transport ideally managing fleets up c 50 HGVs with a CPC, and be available to start within a week
*Strong knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements with a background of embedding systems and process
*Excellent leadership and people management skills.
*Proficiency in analysing data to drive operational improvements.
*Experience in fleet management and route optimisation.
*A solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to resolve issues effectively.
*Strong communication skills for liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
