Assistant Management Accountant
Central Cardiff (Hybrid Working)
The Role:
We’re working with a well established professional services firm in central Cardiff looking to add an Assistant Management Accountant to their finance team. This is a steady, hands-on role supporting the production of monthly accounts and giving you exposure to the full month-end process.
You’ll be joining a supportive team with good structure in place, making it a solid opportunity for someone who’s part-qualified and looking to build on existing experience.
Responsibilities
*Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances
*Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
*Post journals, including accruals and prepayments
*Analyse financial data and provide basic commentary
*Work with internal teams to gather financial information
*Support the year-end process and external audit
About You
*Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) or studying towards qualification
*Experience in a finance role with exposure to month-end
*Comfortable using Excel (lookups, pivot tables beneficial)
*Good attention to detail and ability to work to deadlines
*Willing to learn and take on more responsibility over time
