Job Description:
Job Title: IT Support Engineer (3-Month Contract)
Location: London
Rate: £145/day – Inside IR35 Umbrella contractors only
Contract Length: 3 Months
Start Date: ASAP
We are seeking an IT Support Technician with basic troubleshooting skills to provide technical assistance to end-users. The ideal candidate will have strong communication abilities, a systematic approach to problem-solving, and experience working with various operating systems and hardware.
Key Responsibilities:*Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and network devices (routers, switches, access points, and VPN equipment).
*Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues following set instructions.
*Assist with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of standard software on workstations, including IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities.
*Support users with Windows (all versions), Mac, and other operating systems.
*Effectively manage time to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
*Communicate effectively with end-users and operational teams through professional oral and telephone communication.
Key Skills & Requirements:*Basic troubleshooting and analytical skills.
*Strong oral and telephone communication skills.
*Ability to gather information systematically and identify user needs.
*Experience in providing end-user IT support in a professional setting.
*Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
