Job Description:
We are working on behalf of a fast-growing Insurtech TPA who are looking for a Property Claims Director to join their team!


This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to join as a Property Claims Director, heading up a team of professionals and shaping the future of claims management.


As a Property Claims Director, you’ll lead a team of claims specialists handling a diverse portfolio of agriculture and property claims. Using your expertise, leadership skills, and a tech-driven mindset, you’ll drive operational excellence, deliver outstanding client service, and ensure compliance with industry standards.


Key Responsibilities:
*Leading and managing a team of claims professionals across agriculture and property.
*Driving performance, achieving operational targets, and exceeding client expectations.
*Implementing best practice claims handling processes (intake, investigation, evaluation, settlement, and recovery).
*Analysing claims data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
*Acting as escalation point for complex or disputed claims, ensuring effective resolution.
*Overseeing reserving practices, fraud prevention, and compliance with legal/regulatory standards.
*Building strong relationships with farmers, landowners, brokers, policyholders, and other stakeholders.
*Attracting, training, and developing a high-performing, collaborative team.
*Partnering with internal teams to improve systems, processes, and client outcomes.


Previous Skills & Experience:
*Minimum Dip CII (or working towards).
*10+ years in insurance claims management (property, agriculture, liability, or motor with bodily injury preferred) and at least 6 years’ leadership experience.
*Comfortable using and evolving claims systems to boost efficiency and outcomes.
*A natural leader who values collaboration, empathy, and professional development.
*Able to balance big-picture strategy with hands-on detail.
