As a Graduate Engineer, you’ll support the design and delivery of façade and structural engineering projects, working closely with experienced engineers and consultants. You’ll be involved in everything from early-stage concepts through to detailed design and site involvement.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to specialise in façade engineering while building a strong structural foundation.
What You’ll Be Doing*Assisting in the production of design calculations and technical analysis
*Supporting façade and structural design across a variety of projects
*Preparing sketches, drawings, specifications, and reports
*Contributing to feasibility studies and design solutions
*Attending site visits, inspections, and project meetings
*Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal teams
*Supporting planning of site investigations
*Working to project deadlines, budgets, and quality standards
*Continuously developing your technical knowledge and engineering skills
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
*Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
*Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals
*Experience producing manual calculations
*Working knowledge of Eurocodes (British Standards / UK NA)
*Understanding of CDM Regulations and designer responsibilities
*Ability to design in materials such as steel, concrete, timber, and masonry
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Proactive, motivated, and eager to learn
*Ability to produce clear sketches and technical information
Desirable:
*Familiarity with design software and its limitations
*AutoCAD knowledge
