Job Description:
Graduate Geotechnical Design Engineer
Location: Edinburgh
Salary: £26,000-£31,000

Key Responsibilities:
*Supporting the design of foundations, retaining walls, and earthworks
*Assisting with geotechnical calculations, including bearing capacity and settlement
*Interpreting site investigation data to inform design decisions
*Preparing technical calculations, drawings, and reports
*Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
*Attending site visits and inspections as required
*Ensuring compliance with relevant standards and best practice
What We’re Looking For:
*Degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or similar
*Keen interest in geotechnical and ground engineering design
*Understanding of soil mechanics and foundation design principles
*Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
*Good communication skills, both written and verbal
*Organised, proactive approach to work
*Full UK driving licence
*Right to work in the UK
