Actio Engineering Recruitment are supporting a busy fabrication company in Walsall who are looking to bring in MIG Welders into their day-shift team due to ongoing growth. This is a temp to permanent role based on a day shift with an early finish on Friday.
The Work
You’ll be welding mainly mild steel across a mix of jig work, batch production, and bespoke one-off jobs.


Key Responsibilities
*MIG welding on mild steel components and fabrications
*Working from drawings, jigs and job sheets
*Producing both repeat and bespoke work to a high standard
*Optional TIG welding and silver soldering depending on experience
*Ensuring quality and accuracy at all times
*Inspection of own work


What We’re Looking For
*Strong MIG welding background in a fabrication setting
*Confident working with mild steel
*Able to read and follow drawings
*Stainless, TIG or silver soldering experience is a bonus but not essential
*Reliable and quality-focused approach


Hours
*Monday to Thursday – Day Shift
*Early finish every Friday
Salary
Pay rates are negotiable and dependant on experience as we have a number of positions available due to ongoing growth.
