About the Role
Our client in Newport is looking for a reliable and detail-focused Assembly Operator to join their production team. This role is key to supporting the manufacturing process, ensuring products are assembled accurately and meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
*Assembling products and components in line with work instructions
*Picking, kitting, and preparing materials for production
*Following basic technical diagrams or instructions where required
*Carrying out quality checks to ensure consistency and standards are met
*Handling small components with care and precision
*Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace
*Supporting stock control and inventory accuracy
*Working collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet targets
Skills & Experience
*Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse environments is beneficial but not essential
*Good attention to detail and accuracy
*Strong manual dexterity and ability to work with small parts
*Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team
*Positive attitude and strong work ethic
*Basic IT skills are an advantage
