Production Technician
Location: Near Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
£14.50 per hour | Mon-Fri, 8:00-5:00
We are recruiting for a hands-on Production Technician to join a specialist engineering manufacturer supporting the assembly and testing of bespoke electro-mechanical products.
This role involves mechanical/electrical assembly, working from engineering drawings, and carrying out in-process and final quality checks in a controlled production environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety are essential.
Key Requirements*Experience in a manufacturing, assembly, or test environment
*Ability to read engineering drawings and follow build instructions
*Strong practical skills with hand tools and precision assembly
*High standards of workmanship and quality focus
*Able to work independently following training
Essential Qualification*Must hold a recognised qualification in live electrical testing (including three-phase systems)
*Proven experience working safely with live electrical equipment is essential
This role supports the production of a newly developed product for critical infrastructure applications, forming part of an initial build phase that is key to future global rollout.
