An immediate start is on offer with a construction business in Castleford for a hands-on Finance Manager to work closely with and support the Financial Director.

You’ll be involved in the day-to-day running of the finance function while also contributing to the wider financial management of the business.

Key Responsibilities
*Supporting the Financial Director with day-to-day finance operations
*Overseeing transactional finance (purchase ledger, sales ledger, payroll support)
*Producing monthly management accounts
*Managing cashflow and supporting forecasting activities
*Balance sheet reconciliations and month-end close
*Supporting budgeting and cost control across projects
*Liaising with operational teams to provide financial insight
*Assisting with year-end and external accountant/auditor queries

About You
*Proven experience in a hands-on Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant role
*Comfortable working across both operational and strategic finance tasks
*Strong systems skills (Sage or similar preferred)
*Proactive, organised, and able to work closely with senior leadership
