Job Description:
Hays are now looking for an SC Cleared Test Analyst for one of our local clients:
*Up to £350 p/d Inside IR35
*1-2 days a week onsite, the rest is WFH
*Location is Cardiff
*Must already hold SC Clearance
In the role you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and usability of digital services. Working within an agile, multidisciplinary team, you’ll focus on manual and exploratory testing to support user-centred, secure, and high-quality systems.
What you’ll be doing
*Designing and executing manual test cases from user stories and acceptance criteria
*Carrying out functional, exploratory, and regression testing
*Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) and release readiness
*Identifying, recording, and tracking defects with clear evidence and impact
*Testing for accessibility, usability, compatibility, and basic security risks
*Collaborating closely with developers, analysts, and delivery managers
*Contributing to test documentation, test plans, and continuous quality improvements
What we’re looking for
*Candidates must hold current SC Clearance
*Proven experience in a manual testing or test analyst role
*Strong skills in test design, execution, and exploratory testing
*Experience working in an agile delivery environment
*Ability to clearly communicate defects and risks to technical and non-technical stakeholders
*Experience supporting UAT or production releases
*Good understanding of accessibility and usability principles
*High attention to detail and a strong focus on quality
