Job Description:
Reed Business Support are currently recruiting for a Dispatch Administrator / Transport Admin to join our clients busy and friendly team. This role is ideal for someone with previous dispatch or transport knowledge who enjoys a varied administrative position in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Producing FedEx labels and managing FedEx shipments
• Booking transport for collections and deliveries
• Preparing delivery notes for outgoing orders
• Handling incoming telephone calls, taking accurate messages, and passing them to Account Managers
• Providing administrative support to Account Managers
• Ordering pallets from PPP and monitoring pallet usage
• Creating and printing dispatch and shipping labels
• Carrying out stationery and label stock checks and placing orders where required
• Maintaining accurate dispatch and transport records
• Assisting in other departments when required, acting as a general support resource
• Supporting dispatch/warehouse operations during busy periods
The Ideal Candidate
• Some experience or knowledge of dispatch, transport, or logistics processes
• Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Confident telephone manner and good communication skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
• Comfortable using IT systems, including dispatch or courier software and Microsoft Office
• Flexible, reliable, and willing to assist across different areas of the business
