Job Description:
IT Solutions Manager
We’re seeking an experienced IT Solutions Manager to lead a small technical team supporting customers using High-Performance Computing (HPC) systems, including Linux clusters and workstations. This role blends technical leadership, solution design, customer engagement, and pre-sales support.
Key Responsibilities
*Lead and mentor IT Support Engineers
*Act as senior escalation point for technical issues
*Design and deliver HPC and infrastructure solutions
*Oversee system builds, configuration, and handover
*Work with suppliers on procurement and upgrades
*Support sales through technical input and proposals
Skills & Experience
Essential:
*Strong systems/infrastructure background
*Linux server and desktop experience
*Customer-facing support experience
*Solution design capability
*Strong communication and organisation
Desirable:
*HPC, servers, or cluster experience
*Cloud/hybrid architecture exposure
