Job Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Facilities Assistant to join a welcoming and supportive team in the heart of London. You will play a vital part in maintaining the high standards of the workplace environment, supporting colleagues with their day-to-day needs, and helping to create a pleasant and productive atmosphere for everyone.
What you’ll do
*Manage incoming/outgoing mail and deliveries
*Respond to facilities requests via email/service calls
*Set up and clear meeting rooms for events
*Maintain office, kitchen, and supply areas
*Keep workspace tidy and presentable
*Assist with minor repairs, desk moves, and printer upkeep
*Assemble/reconfigure furniture as needed
*Identify and address cleaning/maintenance issues
*Liaise with building engineers on maintenance tasks
*Occasionally supervise contractors outside hours

*Office-based experience with strong MS Office skills (Excel desirable)
*High attention to detail and sense of ownership
*Proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving
*Ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Reliable, adaptable, and quick to learn
*Team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
