Account Executive
Commercial Finance | Sales & Relationship Focus | Growth Opportunity
Location: Liverpool City Centre
Role: Full time, office based
Hours: Mon - Fri, 9-5pm
Salary: £35K-£40K Basic per annum plus commission
Benefits: 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension, private medical, growth opportunities
A growing and well-backed finance provider is looking to appoint an Account Executive to support continued expansion across the SME market.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with strong momentum, offering tailored funding solutions to a broad customer base.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of the commercial function, combining relationship management, deal coordination, and revenue generation.
You’ll take ownership of enquiries from initial engagement through to completion, working closely with both customers and funding partners to deliver efficient and commercially sound outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage a pipeline of inbound and self-generated opportunities, identifying ways to maximise value from each enquiry
*Build and develop relationships with customers to encourage repeat business and long-term engagement
*Coordinate applications from initial enquiry through to completion, ensuring a smooth and timely process
*Gather, assess, and package financial information to support funding applications
*Source and present suitable funding options aligned to customer requirements
*Liaise with external funding partners and internal stakeholders to progress deals efficiently
*Maintain consistent communication with all parties throughout the lifecycle of each transaction
*Identify alternative solutions for applications that don’t proceed first time
*Proactively follow up on live opportunities to improve conversion and retention
*Manage workload effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
About You
*Experience in a commercial, financial services, or sales-driven environment
*Confident managing client relationships and handling multiple deals simultaneously
*Strong attention to detail with the ability to review and interpret financial information
*Commercially aware with a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
*Comfortable working towards targets and performance metrics
*Strong communication and organisational skills
